Dr. Matt Heisig is a cum laude graduate of the Doctor of Chiropractic program at Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCUHS) in 2021. During his training at SCUHS, he specialized in sports medicine and fitness training.
Dr. Matt attended Northern Arizona University (NAU), where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science in 2017. While at NAU, he played ACHA D3 hockey for the NAU IceJacks. His passion for sports has carried over into chiropractic and helping his patients feel, recover and perform better. Dr. Matt has extended his chiropractic education with study in the topics of Neurodynamics, Stecco Fascial Manipulation, and Postural Restoration.
As an exercise physiologist and competitive college athlete, prior to becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Matt has an outstanding understanding of exercise physiology and fitness training. That, combined with his passion for treating sports injuries, has made him a fantastic addition to the BTF team in 2021. In addition to playing adult league hockey, he enjoys hiking with his 2 dogs.
