Are you looking for a way to measure your overall fitness level? Do you want to hit the gym, but aren’t really sure what you should spend time working on? Cardio? Strength? Flexibility?
The BTF Fitness Challenge is a unique series of 10 body weight-based tests. Each of the 10 tests is designed to measure a different fitness component and is scored from 50 to 100 for a total fitness score out of 1000. If you can score better than 800 you’re doing well. A score over 900 is excellent.
Here is a breakdown of each test and the fitness component it tests:

BODY FAT PERCENTAGE | OVERALL HEALTH |
MEDICINE BALL CHEST THROW | UPPER BODY POWER |
VERTICAL JUMP | LOWER BODY POWER |
60-SECOND BOX SQUATS | LOWER BODY STRENGTH |

If you’re looking for a way to measure your overall fitness level, then have one of our sports medicine-trained doctors run you through the Back to Function Fitness Challenge. This will help you set personalized fitness goals so you know what you really need to improve to feel and perform better. Don’t just train, train intelligently!
Once you understand your overall fitness level, you will be better able to set up your workout routine. For example, if you score poorly on the jump rope and body fat tests, you will need to spend more time on cardiovascular exercises, but if you score poorly on the lower body strength and power tests, you will need to spend more time working on strengthening exercises for your legs and plyometric activities.
Don’t waste time doing a workout program that isn’t designed for your personal needs. Set up an appointment for the BTF Fitness Challenge today by calling us at 310-534-1900, by email at [email protected] or fill out an appointment form.
